Air Bag Front RH Sensor: Replacement

- PRECAUTION (SEE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM )
- DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (SEE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM )
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE AIR BAG FRONT RH SENSOR
- Remove the 2 bolts and airbag front RH sensor.
- Disconnect the connector from the airbag front RH sensor.
- INSPECT AIR BAG FRONT RH SENSOR (SEE ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- INSTALL AIR BAG FRONT RH SENSOR
- Check that the ignition switch is turned OFF.
- Check that the battery negative terminal is disconnected.NOTE: Do not start the operation for 90 seconds after removing the terminal.
- Install the airbag front RH sensor with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf)
- Connect the connector to the airbag front RH sensor.
- Check that no play is identified.
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (SEE DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )
