Headlamp Dimmer Switch Assembly: Replacement

NOTE:

COMPONENTS: See COMPONENTS

  1. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER LWR (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  2. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER UPR 
  3. REMOVE HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
      2. Fig 1: Releasing Claw And Pulling Out Head Lamp Dimmer Switch

    2. Using a screwdriver, release the claw and pull out the head lamp dimmer switch.
    CAUTION: Pressing the claw hard breaks the claw.
    NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
