Diagnostic Procedure

- Check the voltage in the battery. If voltage is between 10-14 volts, go to next step. If battery is below specified voltage, charge or replace the battery.
- Disconnect the ECM connector. Measure the voltage between terminals NSW and E1 when the ignition key is turned to each position. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . At the START position reading should be 10-14 volts. All other positions should read zero volts. If reading is within specification, replace ECM. See appropriate REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If not within specification, repair or replace transaxle wiring harness and connector.
