Diagnostic Tests: Notes

When trouble shooting transaxle, first check for stored DTCs and repair as necessary. If no DTCs exist, perform manual shift test to determine if problem is in transaxle electrical circuits or a transaxle mechanical problem. See appropriate MANUAL SHIFT TEST under PERFORMANCE TESTS.

NOTE: For DTC P0750, P0755, P0765 and P0770 diagnosis, see appropriate solenoid test under COMPONENT TESTS .

NOTE: Always clear DTCs once repairs are complete. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . Road test vehicle and retrieve DTCs to determine if complaint or DTC is repaired.
