YAWRATE SENSOR (From July, 2003): Replacement

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Lexus ES 330. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Do not separate the sensor from the bracket.
  1. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REAR (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  2. REMOVE RR CONSOLE BOX (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  3. REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the yawrate sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and yawrate sensor.

  4. INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR 
    1. Install the yawrate sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

    2. Connect the yawrate sensor connector.

  5. INSTALL RR CONSOLE BOX (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  6. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REAR (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  7. PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (SEE  PRE-CHECK  )
