Seating Parking Brake Shoes & Disc

Depress parking brake pedal with a force of 33 lbs. (15 kg). Drive vehicle at about 31 mph on a safe, level and dry road. Drive for about 1/4 mile (400 meters), then stop vehicle. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Check and adjust parking brake pedal travel. See appropriate procedure under PARKING BRAKE .
