Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Resistance (RAV4 Sub Unit)

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove sub fuel sending unit. Connect ohmmeter between sub sending unit terminals. See Figure. Move sender arm and ensure resistance is as specified. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace sending unit.
