Fuel Sending Unit Resistance (Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra & 4Runner)
Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove fuel sending unit from tank. Connect ohmmeter to appropriate terminals at fuel sending unit. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT CONNECTOR TERMINALS table. See Figure. Move sender arm and ensure resistance is as specified. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not as specified, replace sender.
