Rear Drive Shaft Assembly Removal and Installation: Installation
Refer to REAR DRIVE SHAFT DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY .
Install drive shaft assembly by reversing removal procedure and noting the following points:
CAUTION:
Failure to take proper precautions when installing the drive shaft may result in damage to the drive shaft or the joint boots.
- When installing the drive shaft, be careful not to let joint boots touch other vehicle components, or the joint boots can be damaged.
- Insert joints only by hand. Never hit joint boots with a hammer.
- Tighten each nuts to specified torque referring to REAR DRIVE SHAFT COMPONENTS .
