When The Driver's Switch Is Operated, The Passenger's Side Power Window Does Not Work In Remote Operation
Trouble causes:
- Front regulator & motor assembly (driver's side) failure
- Power window main switch failure
- Front power window sub-switch malfunction
- LIN communication error
- Body integrated unit malfunction
- Harness malfunction
- Poor contact of connector
- Power supply circuit malfunction
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK MALFUNCTIONS

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Operate the front power window sub-switch and check that the power window (passenger's side) works in automatic operation.
Does the power window operate automatically according to switch operation?
Yes : Go to 2.
No : Perform the diagnosis for "When the passenger's switch is operated, the passenger's side power window does not work in automatic operation". Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>INSPECTION>WHEN THE PASSENGER'S SWITCH IS OPERATED, THE PASSENGER'S SIDE POWER WINDOW DOES NOT WORK IN AUTOMATIC OPERATION
- CHECK DTC

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTCs of [Power Window (Switch)] and [Power Window (Passenger)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
- Power Window (Switch)
- Power Window (Passenger)
Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST
No : Go to 3.
- CHECK [Remote switch] (DATA MONITOR)

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Power Window (Passenger)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DATA MONITOR
- Remote switch
Does the display change corresponding to the switch operation?
Yes : Replace the power window main switch. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH
No : Replace the front regulator & motor assembly (passenger's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
