Cruise Control Is Canceled Without Releasing Operation

Using CHECK LIST (Adaptive Cruise Control/Conventional Cruise Control), check the following and respond to it. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL/CONSTANT SPEED CRUISE CONTROL>CHECK LIST (ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL/CONVENTIONAL CRUISE CONTROL) 

Does it apply to the condition that "Adaptive Cruise Control/Conventional Cruise Control" cannot operate or is unintentionally canceled?

Yes  : When there is a relevant item, it can be the cause of malfunction. Eliminate the cause, and check that the malfunction has been improved.

No  : Go to  2.

Check presence of ACC Cancel Code(s) Display. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>ACC CANCEL CODE(S) DISPLAY 

Is a cancel code displayed?

Yes  : The cruise control is canceled due to the displayed cancel code content. The system itself is normal.

No  : Go to  3.

Check the input signal of cruise control system. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>REAL-TIME DIAGNOSIS 

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  5.

No  : Go to  4.

Check the EyeSight steering switch. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>CHECK EYESIGHT STEERING SWITCH 

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  5.

No  : Replace the EyeSight steering switch. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEERING SWITCH

Perform the diagnosis for combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Replace the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA

No  : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.
