Red Led Illuminates

Probable cause:

Open or short in the power supply circuit, LAN system malfunction.

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION

CHECK DTCS .
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Read the DTC of [Telematics] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current code)

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST

No : Go to 2.
CHECK BATTERY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT .
Check harnesses, connectors or fuses related to the battery power supply circuit. Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>TELEMATICS SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Repair or replace the faulty portion.

No : Communication may be impossible with Subaru Select Monitor. Perform the diagnosis for LAN system. Ref. to LAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE
