Roof Antenna (SXM/Telematics)

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to  AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION 

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
  2. Lower the trim panel roof assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>ROOF TRIM>REMOVAL
    NOTE:

    Procedures for the roof trim is performed inside the vehicle. 

  3. Remove the antenna assembly roof.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
      NOTE:

      For models with telematics, disconnect the telematics antenna connector. 

    2. Remove the bolts and washers.
    3. Remove the spring and clip, and then remove the antenna assembly roof.
