DTC B1014: Acc Power
DTC detecting condition:
Voltage failure caused by poor contact of ACC power supply circuit
Trouble symptom:
Interior light may not operate at ACC position.
Wiring diagram:
DC power supply circuit Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT .
- CHECK DTC
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Body Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B1014 displayed? (Current code)
Yes: Go to 2.
No: Go to 8.
- CHECK DTC
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector from body integrated unit.
- Connect the disconnected connectors.
- Wait approx. 2 minutes.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Body Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B1014 displayed? (Current code)
Yes: Go to 3.
No: Go to 8.
- CHECK OPERATION OF OTHER FUNCTIONS
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Body Control]. (*Examples of operation checks for other functions that lead to the downstream part of the accessory 1 relay) Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- ACC Input
Does the display switch to ON when the ignition switch is turned to ACC?
Yes: Go to 4.
No: Go to 5.
- CHECK CONNECTOR
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the body integrated unit from F/B.
- Check poor contact of the connector between the body integrated unit and F/B.
Is there poor contact of connector?
Yes: Repair the poor contact of connector.
No: Replace the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>BODY INTEGRATED UNIT .
- CHECK FUSE
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Check the fuse. Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT>WIRING DIAGRAM .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 6.
No: Replace the defective fuse.
- CHECK HARNESS
.
- Disconnect the connector from F/B.
- Using a tester, measure the voltage between the battery and F/B connector.
Connector & terminal
(B10) No. 1 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
Is the voltage 8.5 - 16.5 V?
Yes: Go to 7.
No: Repair the harness between F/B and M/B.
- CHECK RELAY
.
Perform individual inspection of the accessory 1 relay. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>RELAY AND FUSE>INSPECTION .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 8.
No: Replace the relay. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>RELAY AND FUSE .
- CHECK CONNECTOR
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the body integrated unit connector and the F/B connector.
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Repair or replace the poor contact of connector.
No: Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time.
Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
