Rear Door Glass: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the trim panel rear door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR .
  3. Remove the rear sealing cover. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>REMOVAL>REAR SEALING COVER .
  4. Remove the weather strip outer rear door and cover C pillar assembly rear. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>DOOR SASH (TAPE/MOLDING)>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR .
  5. Remove the glass assembly rear door.
    CAUTION: Do not damage the sash or molding door sash while removing.
    1. Connect the switch assembly power window, and connect the ground terminal to the battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and operate the switch assembly power window to move the glass assembly rear door to the position where the mounting bolts can be seen.
    3. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
    4. Remove the sash assembly rear door lower, and remove the running channel rear door from the glass assembly rear door.

    5. Remove the mounting bolts from the glass assembly rear door.
    CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass assembly rear door.
