Malfunction of CAN communication with ECM (CAN system malfunction)

(1 trip detection logic)

Trouble symptom:

Normal driving

CHECK DTC .

Read the DTC of [P-HEV Drive Motor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Yes: Perform the diagnosis of DTC P3124-87. Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>DTC P3124-87: LOST COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DRIVE MOTOR "A" AND HV ECU MISSING MESSAGE .

NOTE: DTC U0100-87, U0293-87 or U1170-87 may be output due to a malfunction that outputs DTC P3124-87. Check DTC P3124-87 first, and then perform the reproducing test to check that the DTC is not output.
