Front Brake Pipe

  1. Perform the accumulator down drive. (Hybrid model) Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE SYSTEM>OPERATION>ACCUMULATOR DOWN DRIVE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  3. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the front wheels.
  4. Remove the crossmember support - rear RH. Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>CROSSMEMBER SUPPORT>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the vacuum booster assembly. Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE BOOSTER>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the brake accumulator assembly. (Hybrid model) Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE ACCUMULATOR ASSY>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the brake pipe.
    1. Separate each brake pipe using a flare nut wrench.
      • Impreza model

    2. Remove the brake pipe from the pipe clip.
