Rear Spoiler: Removal

  1. Remove the trim panel - trunk lid. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>TRUNK ROOM TRIM>REMOVAL .
  2. Detach the rear spoiler assembly.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the vehicle body during removal and installation.
    • When removing the nut, be careful not to drop the nut inside the trunk lid panel.
    • The reactive force of trunk lid increases when the rear spoiler is removed.
    1. Attach protective tape (a) to the rear spoiler assembly, the cap - rear spoiler, and a screwdriver.
    2. Remove the cap - rear spoiler, and remove the bolts.

    3. Remove the nut from the inside of the trunk lid.

    4. Disengage the clips and remove the rear spoiler assembly.
