Fender Panel

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal  .
  2. Remove the bumper face - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the light assembly - head. Ref. to LIGHTING SYSTEM>HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  4. Release the clips and claws, and then remove the cowl panel - on the left and right sides.
    CAUTION: Pulling with excessive force may damage the cowl panel - side. If it is difficult to remove, use a plastic remover or equivalent tool  .

  5. Remove the cover - fender UPR.

  6. Remove the insulator - fender rear. (Equipped model only)

  7. Remove the mud guard - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>MUD GUARD>REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the spoiler assembly - side sill. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>SIDE GARNISH & SIDE SPOILER>REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the cover - A pillar assembly.

  10. Remove the fender - front.
