5 Door Model

CAUTION: Do not detach the antenna except when replacing it. Detaching unnecessarily will lead to insecure attachment of the antenna.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the trim panel - rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR GATE TRIM> REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the rear antenna assembly - exterior.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Release the clips, and remove the rear antenna assembly - exterior.
