DTC B2B01: Driver's Door Power Window Manual Up Switch Stuck
DTC detecting condition:
UP Terminal Input ON state continues for 20±1 seconds or longer.
Trouble symptom:
The driver's side power window does not operate.
Wiring diagram:
Power window system Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM (IMPREZA MODEL)>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM . Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM (CROSSTREK MODEL (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM . Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM (CROSSTREK MODEL (HEV))>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK MALFUNCTIONS

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Operate the power window main switch and check that the power window (driver's side) operates.
Does the power window operate normally according to switch operation?
Yes: Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.No: Go to 2.
- CHECK DTC

Read the DTC of [Power Window (Switch)] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B2B50 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes: Perform the diagnosis of DTC B2B50. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>DTC B2B50 POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH FAILURE .
No: Go to 3.
- CHECK [One's Seat Switch] (DATA MONITOR)

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Power Window (Driver)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- One's Seat Switch
Does the display change corresponding to the switch operation?
Yes: Replace the front regulator and motor assembly (driver's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
No: Go to 4.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH UNIT
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Perform unit inspection of power window main switch. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 5.
No: Replace the power window main switch. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH .
- CHECK HARNESS (GROUND SHORT CIRCUIT)

- Disconnect the power window main switch connector.
- Disconnect the front regulator and motor assembly (driver's side) connector.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between the power window main switch connector and chassis ground.
Connector and terminal
(D7) No. 12 - Chassis ground:
Is the resistance less than 1 Ω?
Yes: Replace the front regulator and motor assembly (driver's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
No: Repair the short circuit to ground in harness between power window main switch connector and front regulator and motor assembly (driver's side) connector.
