5 Door Model

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the trim panel - rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR GATE TRIM>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the light assembly - finisher rear.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Release the nuts and pins, then remove the light assembly - finisher rear.
