Rear Lateral Link (rear): Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the rear wheels.
  3. Remove the sensor assembly - headlight beam leveler. (Model with vehicle height sensor) Ref. to LIGHTING SYSTEM>REAR HEIGHT SENSOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the rear lateral link (rear).
    1. Remove the bolts and nuts, and remove the lower side of rear shock absorber assembly.
    2. Remove the bolts and nuts, and remove the rear lateral link (rear).
