Pressure Sensor: Removal

  1. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the pressure sensor.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the pressure sensor as shown in the figure.
      CAUTION:
      • Do not deform the pipe.
      • Seal the engaging sections of the disconnected pipe and the sensor with a plug or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
      • Do not reuse the sensor.
