Heater Hose Pipe

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: Heater hose pipe is installed only on the 2.5 L model.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Drain engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
  3. Remove the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp.

  5. Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.

  6. Remove the bolts securing the heater hose pipe, and disconnect the water hose (A) and heater inlet hose (B) to remove the heater hose pipe.
