Radiator Fan and Fan Motor Assembly: Removal

- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the V-belt covers.
- Remove the under cover - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL .
- Remove the lower side bolts (A) securing the radiator upper frame.
- Disconnect main fan motor connector (B) and sub fan motor connector (C).
- Disconnect the over flow hose.
- Remove the reservoir tank. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>RESERVOIR TANK>REMOVAL .
- Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
- Remove the front bumper. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover UPR - front.
- Remove the bracket - bumper UPR.
- Remove the front hood lock assembly. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FRONT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the connector from the horn, and remove the clip.
- Remove the upper side bolts securing the radiator upper frame, and remove the radiator upper frame.
- Remove the radiator upper cushion.
- Disengage the claws and remove the radiator fan and fan motor assembly.
