High-Pressure Hose

- Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE> PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
- Remove the lock assembly - front hood. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FRONT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
- Remove the bumper face - front, Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL .
- Remove the bracket - bumper UPR and radiator upper frame. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>RADIATOR>REMOVAL .
- Remove the hose - pressure discharge.
- Remove the bolts, and remove the hose - pressure discharge.CAUTION:
- Do not apply excessive force to the hose.
- Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected hose, compressor assembly and condenser assembly - air conditioner with a plug or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
NOTE: Push the condenser assembly - air conditioner and radiator toward the engine side to secure working space.
- Remove the bolts, and remove the hose - pressure discharge.
