A/C Pipe

- Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
- Remove the battery and battery tray. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>BATTERY>REMOVAL .
- Move the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>REMOVAL
.NOTE: With the PCV hose connected, remove the air intake boot from the air cleaner case (rear) and throttle body.
- Remove the hose - pressure discharge. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>REMOVAL>HIGH-PRESSURE HOSE .
- Remove the hose - pressure suction. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>HOSE AND PIPE>REMOVAL>LOW-PRESSURE HOSE .
- Remove the pipe - evaporator cooling.CAUTION:
- Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.
- Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected pipe, expansion valve - cooling and condenser assembly - air conditioner with a plug or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
- Do not pull the harness and cable forcibly.
- Remove the clamp and remove the vacuum hose.
- Disconnect the upper connector of the engine control module (ECM). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the main fuse box connector, and detach the harness from the clip.
- Release the claws, and remove the battery cable bracket and engine harness bracket.
- Disconnect the connector of the pressure switch or pressure sensor.
- Remove the bolt, and detach the pipe - evaporator cooling.
- Remove the clip - pipe and the clip, and remove the pipe - evaporator cooling.
