CVTF Cooler Pipe No. 2 (Model With CVTF Cooler (Air Cool))
CAUTION:
- Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
- If CVTF spills over the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emitting smoke and causing a fire.
- Remove the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>Battery>REMOVAL .
- Remove the center exhaust pipe (rear). Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>Center Exhaust Pipe>REMOVAL .
- Remove the CVTF CVT inlet hose and CVTF CVT outlet hose.NOTE: Prepare the container for draining of engine oil.
- Disconnect the harness connector from the sensor assembly pressure.
- Remove the connector (A) and connector (B) in numerical order shown in figure.
- Disconnect the connector (C), and remove the engine wiring harness from the clip (D).
- Disengage the claw (A) which holds the battery cable to the bracket, and disengage the claw (B) which holds the engine wiring harness.
- Remove the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Front Bumper>REMOVAL>BUMPER FACE .
- Remove the air guide LH.
- Remove the CVTF cooler (air cool) inlet hose and the CVTF cooler (air cool) outlet hose.NOTE: Prepare the container for draining of engine oil.
- Detach the pipe front from the clip.
- Remove the CVTF cooler pipe No. 2.CAUTION: Be careful not to bend the pipe front.
