X MODE Switch: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N" range.

  3. Remove the cover assembly - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL>CROSS TREK MODEL>HYBRID MODEL .
  4. Remove the X mode switch.
