EXCEPT FOR HYBRID MODEL
- Disconnect the ground terminal from 12V engine restart battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
- For CVT models, release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position.
- On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the 12V engine restart battery sensor.
- Affix protective tape (a) to the ornament panel - console.
- Remove the boot - hand brake.
- Remove the cover assembly - front.CAUTION:
- Remove the mat - center tray and the tray - center LWR together with the cover assembly - front. Removing the mat - center tray first may damage the parts.
- For models with smart keyless access with push button start, the interior antenna is installed behind the tray - center LWR. Be careful not to damage the harness when removing the cover assembly - front.
- Remove the shift knob. (MT model)
- Remove the select lever knob. (CVT model) Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL

- Release the clips, and detach the cover assembly - front.
- Disconnect the harness connector.
- Remove the mat - center tray and the tray - center LWR.
- Remove the console box assembly.
- Disassemble the cover assembly - front and the console box assembly as required.
HYBRID MODEL
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
- Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position.
- On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the battery ground terminal.
- Affix protective tape (a) to the ornament panel - console.
- Remove the cover assembly - front.CAUTION:
- Remove the mat - center tray and the tray - center LWR together with the cover assembly - front. Removing the mat - center tray first may damage the parts.

- Remove the select lever knob. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL

- Remove the console box assembly.
- Disassemble the cover assembly - front and the console box assembly as required.
