D Range Position Adjustment

Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N" range.

Remove the inhibitor cover.

Loosen the bolts holding the inhibitor switch.

Rotate the inhibitor switch body to the right.
NOTE: Adjust so that amount of movement (A) and amount of movement (B) are the same.

Tighten the bolts fastening the inhibitor switch in the sequence shown by the numbers in the figure.
Tightening torque:

13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)

Check the inhibitor switch position. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>INHIBITOR SWITCH>INSPECTION>CHECK THE INHIBITOR SWITCH POSITION .
Install the inhibitor cover.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
