D Range Position Adjustment

- Release the shift lock using a screwdriver, etc. and shift the select lever to the "N" range.
- Remove the inhibitor cover.
- Loosen the bolts holding the inhibitor switch.
- Rotate the inhibitor switch body to the right.NOTE: Adjust so that amount of movement (A) and amount of movement (B) are the same.
- Tighten the bolts fastening the inhibitor switch in the sequence shown by the numbers in the figure.
Tightening torque:
13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Check the inhibitor switch position. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>INHIBITOR SWITCH>INSPECTION>CHECK THE INHIBITOR SWITCH POSITION .
- Install the inhibitor cover.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
