Center Differential: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the center differential and transfer driven gear into the transfer case as a unit. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>TRANSFER DRIVEN GEAR>INSTALLATION .
  2. Select the adjusting washer. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>TRANSFER CASE AND EXTENSION CASE ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the transfer case together with the extension case assembly. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>TRANSFER CASE AND EXTENSION CASE ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the back-up light switch and the neutral position switch. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>SWITCHES AND HARNESS>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the manual transmission assembly to the vehicle. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>MANUAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
