Warning Light Does Not Illuminate

Detecting condition:

Hybrid fail lamp faulty
Short or open circuit between Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and combination meter
Grounding circuit is faulty.
Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is faulty
Connector connection is improper.

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

CHECK LAN SYSTEM .
Perform the diagnosis for LAN system. Ref. to LAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 2.

No : Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for LAN system.
CHECK FOR POOR CONTACT .
1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Check the connecting condition of the connector for Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE .
Is there poor contact of connector?

Yes : Connect the connector securely. Or repair the poor contact of connector.

No : Go to 3.
CHECK COMBINATION METER .
Check the combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Replace Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE .

No : Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
