Explanation Of Circuits

CHR (charge relay) connects or disconnects the high voltage power supply by the command from Battery ECU assembly.

CHR system consists of three CHRs and one Limiting resistor. CHR and Limiting resistor are located on HV battery junction block.

CHRP and CHRB are first connected in order to connect the high voltage power supply and charge the vehicle side through Limiting resistor. Then, CHRG is connected and CHRP is opened. The high voltage power supply is disconnected by CHRB and CHRG.
