Explanation For Circuits

SMR (system main relay) connects or disconnects the high voltage power supply by the command from Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.

SMR system consists of three SMRs and one Limiting resistor. SMR and Limiting resistor are located on HV battery junction block and HV battery junction block.

SMRP and SMRB are first connected in order to connect the high voltage power supply and charge the vehicle side via Limiting resistor. After that, SMRG is connected and then SMRP is opened. The high voltage power supply is disconnected by SMRB and SMRG.
