Explanation Of Circuits

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Battery (12V) sensor detects voltage, current and temperature of Battery (12V). Charging condition is calculated from the voltage and current, and output to Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. Based on this signal, Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly issues a command for output voltage to DC/DC Converter. Also, Battery (12V) temperature is calculated from the change in resistance value of the thermistor incorporated in Battery (12V) sensor, and output to Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. Based on this signal, Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly decreases the charging current, when Battery (12V) temperature is high, in order to protect Battery (12V).
