High-Pressure Fuel Pump

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the fuel pump lifter.
    NOTE:
    • Apply engine oil to the side of the high-pressure fuel pump case and to the bottom surface of the fuel pump lifter.
    • After installing the fuel pump lifter, rotate the crankshaft in order to set the fuel pump lifter to the lowest position.

  2. Set a new O-ring, and install the high-pressure fuel pump using TORX PLUS® 40IP.

    Tightening torque: 

    21 N.m (2.1 kgf-m, 15.5 ft-lb)

  3. Connect the connector.

  4. Install the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>HIGH PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE>INSTALLATION>HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE .
  5. Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the battery ground terminal. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
