Malfunction Description

At starting charging, Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly checks the charger gate permission signal (CHEN) from Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly to Electric vehicle charger assembly, and the answer-back signal from Electric vehicle charger assembly.

The charging permission signal internal malfunction indicates a faulty condition in the charger gate permission signal from Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. In this state, operation of the charger gate permission signal cannot be guaranteed.

The following cases are assumed to be malfunction causes:
