Malfunction Description

Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly detects a malfunction that the shutdown path for the motor inverter cannot shut down. Detection is performed during the end sequence at READY OFF. Motor generator control ECU detects a malfunction, when judging that shutdown is not performed after it outputs a shutdown signal to the motor inverter.

The following cases are assumed to be malfunction causes:

• Malfunction of the shutdown path (motor) in Inverter with converter assembly
  • Malfunction of Inverter with converter assembly
