A malfunction is detected and the MIL is illuminated when following condition is met:

A large fluctuation in the DC/DC converter voltage occurs due to operation of the battery current interrupt device.
A large fluctuation in the battery charger output voltage occurs due to operation of the battery current interrupt device.
