Inverter Water Pump: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Drain engine coolant. (Inverter assembly side) Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT>INVERTER ASSEMBLY SIDE .
  3. Remove the screw (A) and clips, and turn over the mud guard - front RH.

  4. Remove the clamp (A), and disconnect the inverter water pump inlet hose from the inverter water pump.

  5. Disconnect the quick connector from the inverter water pump.
    NOTE:
    • Disconnect the quick connector as shown in the figure.
    • Be careful not to pull the slider too much.

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the inverter water pump.

  7. When the water pipe and inverter water pump inlet hose are replaced
    1. Remove the water pipe (A) from the clamp.
    2. Disconnect the water pipe (A) and inverter water pump inlet hose (B) as a single unit from the inverter tank outlet hose.

    3. Disconnect the inverter water pump inlet hose from the water pipe.

  8. Remove the bracket.
    NOTE: Remove if necessary.
