High Pressure Solenoid Valve

  1. Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove expansion valve - cooler assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>EXPANSION VALVE>REMOVAL>COOLER VALVE .
  4. Remove the HI solenoid valve.
    1. Remove the harness clips, connector clips, and bolts, and remove the HI solenoid valve.
      CAUTION: Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected pipe and expansion valve - cooler assembly with plugs or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
