Multi Information Display Switch

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Set the tire to the straight-ahead position.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from the 12V engine restart battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  3. Remove the driver's airbag module. Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>DRIVER'S AIRBAG MODULE>REMOVAL
  4. Remove the steering wheel. Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM POWER STEERING)>STEERING WHEEL>REMOVAL
  5. Remove the switch assembly - steering (MID). Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>STEERING WHEEL>DISASSEMBLY .
