Inspection steps

  1. Read the diagnostic code
    NOTE: Refer for checking procedure and precautions of wiring harness and connector
    1. Connect the SSM4 to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Read diagnostic codes according to SSM4 display. (Refer to CHECK LIST FOR INTERVIEW  )
    RESULT DESCRIPTION

    Result Go to
    P2757 or P2758 is output. A
    P2757 or P2758 and other diagnostic codes are output. B

    B: Related diagnostic code chart

    A: Go to next step

  2. Check of lock-up control solenoid (SLU) unit
    1. Check the lock-up control solenoid (SLU) unit. (Refer to UNIT INSPECTION )

    NG: Repair or replacement of transmission valve body ASSY (refer to TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSY )

    OK: Go to next step

  3. Check of transmission valve body ASSY unit
    1. Check the transmission valve body ASSY. (Refer to UNIT INSPECTION )

      Criteria: There is no malfunction and foreign objects on the solenoid installation portions. 

    NG: Replacement of transmission valve body ASSY (refer to REMOVAL )

    OK: Go to next step

  4. Check of torque converter ASSY unit
    1. Check the torque converter ASSY. (Refer to TORQUE CONVERTER & DRIVE PLATE )

      Criteria: Torque converter ASSY is normal. 

    NG: Replacement of torque converter ASSY (refer to REMOVAL )

    OK: Go to next step

    Replacement of automatic transmission ASSY (refer to REMOVAL )
