Inspection steps

  1. Check of shift lock solenoid unit
    1. Check the shift lock solenoid unit. (Refer to UNIT INSPECTION )

      NG: Replacement of shift lock solenoid (refer to REMOVAL )

      OK: Go to next step

  2. Check wiring harness and connector (main body ECM (network gateway computer) - shift lock solenoid)
    NOTE: For inspection procedures and precautions, refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURES FOR ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS AND HOW TO PERFORM .
    1. Disconnect the connector D5 of the main body ECM (network gateway computer).
    2. Disconnect the connector D28 of shift lock solenoid.
    3. Measure the resistance between the terminals.
