CVTF Cooler (With Warmer Function): Installation

- Connect the engine coolant inlet hose.NOTE: When installing the engine coolant inlet hose, the triangle marking should face upward.
- Install the insulator, EGR valve, and the intake manifold. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>INTAKE MANIFOLD>INSTALLATION . Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>EGR CONTROL VALVE>INSTALLATION .
- Replace the CVTF inlet hose and the outlet hose.
- Install the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature).
Tightening torque:
23 N.m (2.3 kgf-m, 17.0 ft-lb)
- Connect the engine coolant outlet hose.
- Connect the CVTF inlet hose and CVTF outlet hose.NOTE: Use new CVTF hoses.
- Install the engine coolant outlet hose, engine coolant inlet hose, CVTF inlet hose and CVTF outlet hose.
- Check installation condition of hoses.
- Make sure the hoses do not interfere with each other or with other components.
- Check each hose for bent, excess curve, and twisting conditions.
- Install the harness clip.
- Install the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
- Install the collector cover. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (EXCEPT FOR STI)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Fill engine coolant. Refer to COOLING (EXCEPT FOR STI)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT .
- Adjust the CVTF level. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>CVTF>ADJUSTMENT .
