Water Pump (FA20): Removal

  1. Removal of under cover front AL (Refer to REMOVAL )
  2. Draining of coolant (SUBARU Super Coolant) (Refer to COOLANT (FA20) )
  3. Removal of V-belt (Refer to V-BELT (FA20) )
  4. Removal of exhaust manifold (Refer to REMOVAL )
  5. Removal of water pump pulley
    1. Use the SST to secure the water pump pulley.

      SST 18355AA000, 18334AA030

    2. Remove the three bolts and remove the water pump pulley.

  6. Removal of engine water pump ASSY
    1. Remove the five bolts and remove the engine water pump ASSY and gasket.
