  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to BATTERY
    NOTE: Repair Contents.
  2. Remove the air cleaner element and the air cleaner case (rear). Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Cleaner Element.
  3. Disconnect the connector from ignition coil.
    NOTE: While pressing the spring (a) shown in the figure, slide it in the direction of the arrow with a clip remover.

  4. Remove the ignition coil.

  5. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug socket.
