Blower Motor Unit Assembly: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to CAUTION , General Description.
  • Do not detach the immobilizer control module except when replacing the blower motor unit assembly.
  • Replace the air duct cover LWR with a new part when the immobilizer control module is removed. If the air duct cover LWR is reused, screw tightening force is reduced and the immobilizer control module may be detached due to vibration while driving.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to BATTERY
    NOTE: Repair Contents.
  2. Remove the heater and cooling unit assembly. Ref. to REMOVAL , Heater and Cooling Unit.
  3. Remove the blower motor unit assembly.
    1. Release the claws and remove the screws.

    2. Remove the blower motor unit assembly as shown in the figure.
